Daniel – Logistics

Before I was hired to work at experimenta, I successfully completed vocational training as a warehouse logistics specialist. During my training, I soon realized that I wanted to learn more about logistics. That’s why I went on to study transport and logistics management at the Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences.

I’ve been working in the Operating Technology department since April 2017 and am responsible for logistics. My main duties are warehouse management as well as incoming and outgoing goods. Since the opening of the new building in March 2019 and the associated challenges for logistics, my area of responsibility has expended to include management of the logistics team. As a team, we are responsible for making sure that our visitors always find enough material in the studios.

The opening of the “new” experimenta was the greatest highlight so far for me. Seeing the first enthusiastic visitors in the exhibition and the studios after the construction phase was a reward for what we’d done and motivates us for the future. As an employer, experimenta stands for diversity which is reflected in the number of occupational groups. As a group, we are thus always learning something new.
